What to include
- What the company does One or two sentences, and who the customers are.
- What the site or app has to do Bring in calls, take bookings, track jobs, replace a spreadsheet. The task, not the features.
- Website, app, or not sure "Not sure" is a fine answer. This page may settle it.
- What exists already A domain, an old site, a logo, photos, written pages, an app someone else started.
- What it must connect to Payments, booking, accounting, an existing database, if anything.
- When you need it A real date if there is one, and why.
- A budget range, if you have one It does not set the price; it tells us which options are worth describing.
If you have read what to ask before you hire a developer, ask those too. They should be as easy to answer here as anywhere.
